Student learning is facilitated by setting high expectations, providing support and feedback, and maintaining classroom environments that allow diverse types of learners to strive.<\/p>\n<p>During secondary education at Union School, there is an emphasis on core content knowledge and the sharpening of critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Our high schoolers have the opportunity to enroll in a variety of elective and advanced placement courses to ensure college and career readiness. We also encourage our students to participate in enrichment, extracurricular, and cultural activities.<\/p>\n<p>Students collaborate in a variety of project-based learning activities and are given opportunities to showcase their work to the student body.
