Reading is central to student learning, as it strengthens comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and critical thinking.<br \/>\nThis year, we are implementing a restructured format as part of our continuous effort to innovate ways to build strong readers, writers, and critical thinkers. To better serve individual student needs, the reading lists are now organized by Lexile bands rather than grade levels.<br \/>\n<strong>What Are Lexile Bands?<\/strong><br \/>\nLexile bands are reading ranges that help students choose books that match their reading level.
